By using Dica (the "App"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Minimum Age

You must be at least 16 years old to use Dica. The App is not directed to children. If you are under 16, please do not use the App.

1. The App

Dica is a mobile application that helps users learn English through real video content from YouTube and AI-powered conversation practice.

The App is currently free to use. Future versions may include paid features; these will always be communicated clearly before any charge.

2. Your Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during onboarding
  • Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Not attempt to extract, scrape, or redistribute video content from YouTube via the App
  • Not use the App to harass, harm, or violate the rights of others
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App's normal operation

3. YouTube Content

The App displays videos from YouTube using YouTube API Services. All videos remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. The App does not store, download, or modify YouTube content.

By using the App, you also agree to be bound by YouTube's Terms of Service.

4. AI Conversations

Conversations with the AI assistant (powered by Anthropic Claude) are processed in real time.

We do not store your conversation history beyond your current session.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, brand, and original content are the property of Steve Quentin Minot.

YouTube video content remains the property of YouTube creators and YouTube LLC.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Steve Quentin Minot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts of France.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the new Terms.
